Producer Flamingo Dai Lai Resort and Ngoc Viet Performance Company said that the stage of Soul of the Forest - Melody of the Pine Forest season two is still in the center of the destination's outdoor art museum, but has been expanded to 700 seats instead of 500 seats in the previous season. Season one of this show welcomed more than 10,000 spectators.

In the first show of season two on the night of September 7, music lovers will hear Van Mai Huong and Bui Lan Huong sing in the middle of a pine forest. Then there will be Huong Tram, Tang Phuc... If guests have the means, they can rent a room to stay overnight and enjoy attractive tourist services at this destination that Hanoians love. This is also a typical music tourism model, which has been quite developed in Vietnam in recent years.

"It is a model where people go to a destination just to enjoy music, and then other travel experiences. Da Lat is the first place to open the trend of music tourism in Vietnam," Dr. Trinh Le Anh - lecturer at the Faculty of Tourism, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi - shared with Tuoi Tre Online. According to Mr. Trinh Le Anh's observation, unofficially, Ha Anh Tuan's show See sing and share - Gau at the end of December 2018 in Da Lat can be considered the show that marked the appearance of the music tourism model in Vietnam. Since then, Ha Anh Tuan's fans all over the country have booked trips to Da Lat or Ninh Binh... to listen to the male singer's concert. Many people will stay there for a couple of days to hang out and enjoy the atmosphere and landscape of the locality. According to Mr. Trinh Le Anh, this model contributes to making the enjoyment of music for music lovers more diverse and multi-layered.

Many tourist attractions to try

Mr. Trinh Le Anh said that after Da Lat, other locations across the country also began to welcome this new tourism model. It can be said that the 8Wonder Winter Festival, with performances by international artists, has heated up Phu Quoc tourism in recent years. While large live concerts such as Ha Anh Tuan's in Da Lat, Ninh Binh, 8Wonder Winter Festival, BlackPink's show have not been popular, smaller music tourism models have been chosen by many places. First, the Wandering Clouds model in Da Lat has begun to develop a music tourism model, which existed before Ha Anh Tuan's show, although it is not yet the standard of music tourism. After that, many tourist destinations also began to set up music stages for regular performances, to welcome guests to listen to music and combine tourism. Soul in the forest at Flamingo Dai Lai resort, Hoa bay in Tam Dao, Ngan lang valley in Tu Le, Van Chan district, Yen Bai province, ... were born, becoming "small and pretty" music tourism models that are very suitable for Vietnam, according to Mr. Trinh Le Anh's observation. Even Hanoi has not ignored this new tourism model. HAY glamping music festival - a model in which young people camp (glamping) at Yen So park to rest, eat and listen to music from afternoon to night - has attracted quite a lot of young people. Mr. Trinh Le Anh said that the model of camping and listening to music for several days is a model that attracts many young people in European and American countries and Vietnam has also started to introduce it, because what young people like will be introduced very quickly in the current context of globalization.

Vietnam has great potential for music tourism.

Talking about the development of music tourism, Mr. Trinh Le Anh said that in the past, tourism and music did not go hand in hand. But recently, organizers have had to become more versatile to provide more experiences, and music ticket buyers have other additional experiences. Tourism businesses see their opportunity here. They join hands with performance companies to form joint ventures to organize music tourism activities. And this model is increasingly bringing great economic value. There are cities in Europe that Mr. Le Anh has just visited, they only prepare for two seasons a year, each season 4 nights on two consecutive Saturdays and Sundays, and they "have enough". In one night they can welcome 100,000 guests. Of course, currently Vietnam has no place with enough brand and organizational experience to become a Hub (a creative cultural center that attracts a large number of tourists from all over the world), but Vietnam has a lot of potential to become a new Hub of the world. "Vietnam's locations have their own unique beauty and international appeal. We are not proud of our professionalism in service, but we can be proud of the beauty of our destinations. We have great potential, but to realize it, there is still much to do. First of all, we must have a policy to welcome top international stars and idols to perform in Vietnam," said Mr. Trinh Le Anh.
