Thanh Hoa tourism exceeds 2024 visitor target in just 9 months

According to a report by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in the first 9 months, the total number of visitors to Thanh Hoa is estimated at nearly 14.5 million, reaching 104.7% of the 2024 plan.

Organizing a variety of cultural, sports and tourism events, along with exploiting a variety of high-class tourism, entertainment and recreation products... has contributed to making Thanh Hoa an attractive destination in the North, creating holidays with an impressive number of visitors since the beginning of the year. Thereby contributing to raising the total tourism revenue in the first 9 months of 2024 to an estimated nearly 32 trillion VND, an increase of 39.2% over the same period in 2023 and reaching 98.6% of the 2024 plan.

Flamingo Ibiza Hai Tien (Hoang Hoa) regularly holds events and high-class entertainment activities that attract tourists.

Notably, the number of international tourists to Thanh Hoa from the beginning of the year to now has also increased by 22.7% compared to 2023, estimated at 551 thousand arrivals; total revenue from international visitors is estimated at over 285.4 million USD, up 39% over the same period in 2023 and reaching 96.7% of the 2024 plan.

Thus, in just 9 months, Thanh Hoa province has officially exceeded the target of the number of visitors in 2024, while there is still the "peak season" of welcoming MICE guests (tourism combined with conferences, seminars, events). Experts and businesses in the tourism sector expect that Thanh Hoa tourism will continue to make new strides, becoming one of the bright spots of Vietnam tourism in 2024.
