Putting into use 14 projects to prevent grid overload in Ha Tinh

14 construction investment projects with a total cost of 150.35 billion VND contribute to improving power quality and reducing overload on Ha Tinh power grid.

Leaders of Ha Tinh Electricity Company inspected the newly energized projects.

With the goal of increasing the reliability of power supply and especially preventing grid overload during the hot season, from the beginning of 2023, Ha Tinh Electricity Company was assigned by the Northern Power Corporation to carry out 14 construction investment projects with a total cost of 150.35 billion VND.

In which, some key projects such as: Project "Converting the power grid from 10 kV to 22 kV voltage level in Huong Son district" with a total investment of 14.5 billion VND; project "Construction and renovation of medium and low voltage lines and transformer stations to prevent overload, reduce power loss, reduce power supply radius in Ha Tinh city area in 2023" with a total cost of 10.38 billion VND; project "Construction and renovation of medium and low voltage lines and transformer stations to prevent overload, reduce power loss, reduce power supply radius in Huong Khe district area in 2023" with a total cost of 7.86 billion VND...

The load-carrying process of the devices on the grid is closely monitored through the Remote Control Center (Ha Tinh Electricity Company).

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hoa - Head of Investment Management Department (Ha Tinh Electricity Company) said: "In recent times, the company has proactively and actively coordinated with local authorities where projects pass through and related units to speed up site clearance progress, deploy safe and quality construction of projects. Up to now, 14/14 construction investment projects have been completed and energized for use, contributing significantly to preventing grid overload and reducing power loss during the hot season of 2023 and the following years."
