On the afternoon of October 4, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Southern Ha Tinh Business Association celebrated Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day with the theme: "Ha Tinh - Connecting affection".

Attending the ceremony were Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Communist Magazine Hoang Trung Dung, Chairman of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly Nguyen Thanh Binh, Major General Pham Ba Hien - Commander of the 16th Army Corps.

On the side of Ha Tinh province, there were Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Tran Nhat Tan, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thanh Dong, Head of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board Tran Viet Ha; leaders of departments, branches and localities.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Phi Dan - Chairman of the Southern Ha Tinh Business Association affirmed that the Southern Ha Tinh Business Association has become a common home, connecting the business community of Ha Tinh in the South. After more than 3 years of operation, the Ha Tinh Business Association has promoted its role, gathering more than 600 members. The activities of the association have left a deep impression, not only contributing to economic development but also actively participating in social, humanitarian and charitable activities, joining hands to build the homeland.

The Association has contributed over 18 billion VND to charity and social activities; built and donated over 40 gratitude houses; donated over 6 billion VND to the Education Promotion Fund at all levels; awarded thousands of scholarships to students overcoming difficulties; supported community health; provided relief to people in areas of natural disasters and floods; organized the annual "Zero-VND Bus" to bring thousands of students and workers home for Tet.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also informed about the damage caused by storms and floods and the work of overcoming the consequences, soon restoring production and stabilizing people's lives.

“In parallel with efforts to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, the province has successfully organized the 20th Provincial Party Congress. Looking back at the past term, despite many difficulties and challenges, Ha Tinh still achieved many important results; economic scale increased 1.5 times; total budget revenue for the whole period increased 1.6 times. In the first 9 months of 2025, economic growth reached 8.05%; total budget revenue in the area reached 15,600 billion VND; many key projects in the area were accelerated.
Along with economic development, the cultural and social fields have achieved many outstanding results; social security work has been taken care of, and socialized resources have been well mobilized. The policy of arranging the apparatus and operating the two-level local government has been well implemented; 209 communes and wards have been rearranged and reorganized into 69 communes and wards; the naming of communes has been approved by the people, preserving traditional cultural and historical values" - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai emphasized.

Leaders of Ha Tinh province presented flowers to congratulate the business community of Ha Tinh in the South on the occasion of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day October 13.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai said that the next term will open up many investment opportunities in Ha Tinh when the Vung Ang Economic Zone is expanded, traffic infrastructure, seaports, logistics, infrastructure of industrial parks and clusters continue to be invested and upgraded, and key projects come into operation, creating new growth momentum.

The province has been focusing on vigorously implementing the Politburo's key resolutions, including Resolution 68 on private economic development; the role of enterprises and entrepreneurs is increasingly affirmed. Private economic development is one of the five key tasks identified in the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress; striving to have 18,000 - 20,000 operating enterprises in Ha Tinh by 2030.

Provincial leaders awarded certificates of merit from the Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee to outstanding collectives and individuals with many practical contributions towards their homeland.
