On October 20, the People's Committee of Bao Lam 2 Commune ( Lam Dong Province) announced that 4 out of 5 households eligible for compensation had received money and handed over the site to the construction unit of the road connecting to Dai Nga Bridge on National Highway 20.

Accordingly, the total area recovered for the connection road is 2,787m², the total compensation cost is more than 3.94 billion VND, up to now 1.65 billion VND has been disbursed to households that have handed over the site. Immediately after having the site, the construction unit has started to bring in machinery and equipment to lower the ground level for construction.

Previously, SGGP Newspaper reported that the Dai Nga Bridge, about 100m long, was completed at the end of 2024. This is a project in the project to renovate the section through Mimosa Pass and some works on National Highway 20, invested by Project Management Board 85 ( Ministry of Construction ) with a total cost of 441 billion VND.

Although the construction of this bridge has been completed, one end of the bridge has not been cleared, making it impossible to connect traffic. Meanwhile, every day thousands of vehicles still travel through the old Dai Nga bridge, which is narrow and seriously degraded, posing a potential risk to traffic safety.
Regarding this project, recently, Mr. Vo Ngoc Hiep, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, requested Project Management Board 85 (Ministry of Construction) - the investor - to request the contractor to urgently deploy and complete the remaining items, and soon put the project into synchronous operation.
