As the fourth member of the Galaxy S25 series, alongside the Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra, the S25 Slim will not appear with the other products of the S25 series in January 2025 but will be launched a few months later.
Recently, leaker Ice Universe has revealed that the Galaxy S25 Slim can be as thin as 6.xmm - significantly thinner than the standard S24 model (7.6mm). It is likely that the device will use silicon-carbon anode battery technology.
Silicon-carbon anode technology is known to improve smartphone batteries by increasing energy density, allowing for longer battery life or thinner designs. It also offers improved heat management. The S25 Slim can be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip, accompanied by 16GB of Ram for powerful performance.
Despite its slim design, the Galaxy S25 Slim is said to have a battery capacity of between 4,700 mAh and 5,000 mAh (equivalent to the battery of the S24 Ultra).
Previous reports have revealed that the S25 Slim will come with a 200MP main camera using Samsung's new Isocell HP5 sensor, which is smaller than the HP2 sensor in the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The phone will also have two 50MP Isocell JN5 1/2.76 sensors for ultra-wide-angle and 3.5x telephoto shooting, promising sharp zoom capabilities.
The source also said that the Galaxy S25 Slim will be available in the US instead of being limited to the Korean market through its own carriers.
