Nearly 800 drug addicts were sent to compulsory drug rehabilitation in the first 6 months of 2024

In June - the month of action against drugs in 2024, the police force of the whole province made records and sent 116 drug addicts to compulsory drug rehabilitation facilities.

Drug addicts are trained at rehabilitation facilities.

Three localities that sent many drug addicts to compulsory drug rehabilitation in June 2024 were Bao Thang district (33 people), Van Ban district (32 people), and Lao Cai city (31 people).

Drug addicts participate in labor at rehabilitation facilities.

Currently, in the province, there are more than 1,300 drug addicts being treated at 7 treatment facilities and 8 methadone dispensing facilities.
