The Sun revealed that Bale and his team have submitted a £40 million offer to buy a majority stake in Cardiff.

The move comes after a difficult season for the Welsh side, who were relegated to the Championship in May and will play in League One - the club's worst performance in more than 20 years.

Previously, Bale and his associates wanted to take over another club, Plymouth Argyle, but were unsuccessful.

Now, the former Real Madrid star is putting all his efforts into negotiating to own Cardiff, the place where he was born and holds countless beautiful memories.

Bale first made the move public at a European film premiere late last month, showing his seriousness.

"We are very interested in buying Cardiff," Bale said. "This is my hometown club, where I grew up. My uncle played for the team."

He also stressed that taking ownership of Cardiff would be "a dream come true", and he wanted to contribute to the development and bring the team back to the Premier League - the most prestigious tournament in England.

Cardiff's current owner, Malaysian businessman Vincent Tan, has also expressed a willingness to listen to offers to sell the club. Tan has been Cardiff's largest shareholder since 2010 and has invested around £200m in the club over the years.

However, according to The Sun , Bale's first offer to Mr. Vincent Tan was rejected. Currently, the two sides are continuing to negotiate to find common ground, opening up hope for a brighter future for Cardiff City under the leadership of a hometown football legend.
