Coffee prices "plummeted" by 5,000 VND/kg at the end of the week

(GLO)- On September 21, domestic coffee prices “plummeted” sharply by 5,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday. The highest coffee purchase price in the weekend session was recorded in Lam Dong and Dak Lak provinces, at 111,500 VND/kg.

Trading at a slightly lower price, coffee in Gia Lai is currently VND111,200/kg.

Similar to the domestic market, world coffee prices also continued to decrease. Accordingly, on the London exchange, the price of Robusta coffee futures for September 2025 delivery reached 4,353 USD/ton, down 6.69% (312 USD/ton); November 2025 decreased 7.02% (312 USD/ton), down to 4,153 USD/ton.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the price of Arabica coffee futures for delivery in December 2025 decreased by 4.07% (15.55 US cents/pound), to 365.3 US cents/pound; the price of futures for delivery in March 2026 decreased by 4.15% (15 US cents/pound), to 346.25 US cents/pound.

On the Brazilian exchange, the price of Arabica coffee futures for September 2025 delivery decreased by 4.74% (21.75 US cents/pound), to 436.6 US cents/pound; December 2025 decreased by 1.1% (4.85 US cents/pound), reaching 432.95 US cents/pound.
