Pig price on October 23, 2024: Stable nationwide

DNVN - On October 23, 2024, the price of live pigs nationwide remained stable, with no significant fluctuations in many localities as the market was showing signs of slowing down.

Pig price in the North

According to records in the morning session on October 23, the price of live pigs in the northern provinces remained within the range of 62,000 - 64,000 VND/kg.

Notably, the highest price of 64,000 VND/kg was reported in Hung Yen, Hai Duong and Hanoi. Meanwhile, the lowest price in this region was 62,000 VND/kg, recorded in Lao Cai and Ninh Binh.

Pig price in the Central Highlands

In the Central and Central Highlands regions, the price of live pigs has not changed, still fluctuating from 60,000 - 63,000 VND/kg.

Traders in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An bought live pigs at 63,000 VND/kg, the highest in the region. On the contrary, Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa had the lowest price, only 60,000 VND/kg.

Pig price in the South

The Southern region also recorded a stable trend in this morning's trading session. In the provinces and cities, the price of live pigs fluctuated between 60,000 - 63,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, Ben Tre recorded the lowest price in the region, 60,000 VND/kg, while other localities still maintained prices from 62,000 - 63,000 VND/kg.

Some experts say that pig prices today are unchanged in many localities because the market is currently showing signs of sideways movement.
