World coffee prices have risen strongly, contributing to strengthening the growth momentum of Vietnam's coffee industry - a sector considered a bright spot in agricultural exports in 2025.

With international prices remaining high and domestic supply stable, this year's coffee export output is expected to exceed 1.6 million tons, reaching a turnover of about 9 billion USD - much higher than the record of 5.62 billion USD of last year.

In the first nine months of the year, Vietnam exported nearly 1.24 million tons of coffee, bringing in about $7 billion, helping this item surpass fruits and vegetables to become the agricultural product group with the largest export value.

Coffee prices in September remained high, averaging 5,700 USD/ton, raising the average price for the first 9 months of the year to 5,655 USD/ton - an increase of 45.2% over the same period and the highest level ever.

This growth comes from the industry's strategic shift as Vietnam not only focuses on exporting raw coffee but also promotes deeply processed products such as instant and roasted coffee, bringing much higher added value.
