Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hung Nam inspected the site clearance work of key projects.

On the morning of October 15, Mr. Nguyen Hung Nam, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, inspected the site clearance work of the Khoai Chau Golf Course Eco-tourism Urban Complex Project and the Project to build a road connecting cultural heritage, tourism and economic development along the Red River in the communes of Chau Ninh, Khoai Chau, Me So, and Van Giang.

Comrade Nguyen Hung Nam, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, inspected the site clearance work of the Khoai Chau Golf Course Eco-tourism Urban Complex project in Chau Ninh commune.

According to reports from localities, the area to be recovered for handover to implement the Khoai Chau Golf Course Eco-tourism Urban Complex Project includes: Chau Ninh commune 500 ha; Khoai Chau commune 82 ha. For the Project to build a road connecting cultural heritage tourism and economic development along the Red River: Khoai Chau commune 24.7 ha; Chau Ninh commune 19.5 ha; Me So commune 38.47 ha; Van Giang commune 18.37 ha.

Comrade Nguyen Hung Nam, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, inspected the site clearance work for the project to build a road connecting cultural heritage, tourism and economic development along the Red River in Me So commune.

Up to now, the above localities have basically completed handing over the area managed by the People's Committees of the communes to the construction units; at the same time, speeding up the progress of implementing the recovery steps according to regulations for the area used by households and individuals.

At the inspection points, Mr. Nguyen Hung Nam, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, commended and acknowledged the communes for their efforts in site clearance to serve the province's two key projects, and discussed and gave opinions to the commune leaders on specific issues and recommendations arising in the process of land acquisition in the locality.

Comrade Nguyen Hung Nam, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, discussed with people of Chau Ninh commune whose land was recovered to serve the Khoai Chau Golf Course Eco-tourism Urban Complex project.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that communes in the process of land recovery need to create the best conditions for people, but on the basis of strictly complying with the provisions of the Land Law and the province's regulations on compensation and support when recovering land; step up propaganda work to help people understand and comply with the policy of handing over the site; and at the same time, affirm that the province will resolutely handle acts of taking advantage of policies in compensation, support and site clearance.
