Accordingly, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline is forecast to increase by 500 - 600 VND/liter; RON95 gasoline is forecast to increase by 350 - 500 VND/liter. The price of other types of oil is also forecast to increase by 250 - 400 VND/liter, kg. In case the regulatory agency only uses the stabilization fund, the price of gasoline may increase less.
The basis for the above assessment is that the world oil price has been on a continuous upward trend last week, reaching a 2-week high. Although the price has turned down, the decrease is not significant, so the world oil price is still high.

Oil prices fell after Israel agreed to a ceasefire with Lebanon, reducing risk appetite for oil. The deal is expected to take effect today. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he was ready to implement the ceasefire with Lebanon and would respond strongly to any violations by Hezbollah.
A ceasefire could put pressure on crude prices, as the US administration is likely to ease sanctions on Iranian oil, said StoneX analyst Alex Hodes.
In addition, OPEC and its allies (OPEC+) are still discussing continuing to postpone the plan to increase oil production, expected to start in January 2025, ahead of a meeting on December 1 to decide policy for the first months of next year.
The fire has been rekindled by OPEC+ continuing to delay production increases and US President-elect Donald Trump’s plan to impose 25% import tariffs on Canada and Mexico, but that hasn’t been enough to support WTI prices above $70 a barrel, said analyst John Kilduff of Again Capital.
US crude inventories fell 5.935 million barrels, while gasoline inventories rose 1.814 million barrels and distillate inventories rose 2.543 million barrels.
