5-a-side football tournament for civil servants, public employees and workers

BTO-Tuy Phong District Labor Federation is coordinating with the District Culture, Sports - Radio and Television Center to organize a 5-a-side football tournament for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers.

Participating in the tournament were 20 teams of union members from agencies, units, enterprises, trade unions under the District Labor Federation and trade unions in the industry participating in Social Insurance in the district.

The teams are divided into 4 groups, the first and second place teams in each group compete in the quarter-finals; then in the semi-finals and finals.

The tournament aims to improve the cultural and spiritual life of union members and workers.

Mr. Le Ngoc Linh - Chairman of Tuy Phong District Labor Federation said: This is an activity to celebrate the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2024); to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2024). The tournament also aims to promote the physical education and sports movement to improve the cultural and spiritual life of workers, civil servants and laborers. At the same time, select excellent players to participate in the 7-a-side football tournament for workers, civil servants and laborers organized by the Provincial Labor Federation in July 2024.
