(Dan Tri) - After the merger, Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu was appointed as Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City.

At the first session of the 10th term Ho Chi Minh City People's Council held on the afternoon of July 1, delegates unanimously approved the proposals of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee on the establishment of 15 specialized agencies after merging Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, and Ba Ria - Vung Tau .

Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu was appointed as Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu, (born June 18, 1966), hometown Tan An Hoi commune, Ho Chi Minh City. Mr. Hieu graduated from the University of Education, majoring in mathematics, has a bachelor's degree in politics , senior degree in political theory, and a doctorate in educational management.

After the merger, the new Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City (including 3 regions: Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Binh Duong ) is a specialized agency under the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and receives the original status of the affiliated public service units and units under the state management authority of education of the Department of Education and Training of Ba Ria - Vung Tau and the Department of Education and Training of Binh Duong.
