Ngoc Anh understands that her father's job requires her to be away from home often to take on duties at the unit, but Ngoc Anh also misses her father very much and wants him to be near her like other families. Especially when she is sick, she wants her father to be by her side to take care of her, and when she was little, she wanted her father to pick her up and take her to school like her peers. The distance does not mean that her father forgets to care for his children. Therefore, her father always gives special gifts to encourage her whenever Ngoc Anh achieves good academic results.

The time for family while dad is still working is quite limited, so every occasion to get together is cherished and preserved by Ngoc Anh and all family members with small, warm parties or short trips to increase the bond. In particular, all birthdays of family members, to the holidays of March 8 and October 20 are always remembered and prepared by dad in advance, the long distance is filled with dad's love.

Now, my father has retired and is home more, but it is my turn to be away from home, because I am a student studying in Hanoi . We still have little time together, but every day I often text or call to ask about my father's health and share stories about everyday life. The phone calls to my father every day help me "recharge" my energy, giving me more motivation to study and work hard.

Since retiring, Dad has devoted all his time to his family. Mother loves her children with hugs, and father loves his children with a strong shoulder. And the “strong shoulder” of Mr. Khong Quang Hoan has always been for his two young children, Khong Minh Khoi (6 years old) and Khong Khanh Ly (8 years old) in Phu Hai 2 village, Phu Nhuan commune (Bao Thang), since their mother’s “hugs” left.

Mr. Hoan said that after living together for a while, he and his wife had a conflict, so his wife left home, leaving him with two young children. “My wife and I divorced 3 years ago, I was only worried that my two young children would be hurt. But if I let the children live with parents who no longer love each other, it would hurt them even more. That is why I tried to raise my two children alone with the hope that my love could fill the void, so that my children would not lack both material and spiritual things and could grow up healthy and happy.”

Recently, because of financial worries, Mr. Hoan had to move to work as a worker in Van Ban district, and had to rely on his grandparents' support to take care of his two children. Although he had less time with his children, his love for them did not diminish. Every two days, he returned to visit his children once with many small, lovely gifts. Each time he returned, he spent all his time talking, confiding, and playing with his children.

The love between father and son Hoan began with the sacrifice and love of a father. Hoan steadfastly overcame the difficulties in life with his children, whether they were financial, health, or emotional challenges. Because of that love, he helped his children understand the meaning of love in life.

Father Hoan is not only my father but also a friend, a teacher, a companion and a trustworthy protector. He is the source of motivation for me to study hard and try to be good every day. I understand that my father is busy and cannot be with me every day because he has to take care of me and my younger brother, so I love him very much and hope he is always healthy.
