This is an activity towards people affected by floods caused by storm No. 10 (Bualoi), demonstrating the spirit of "mutual love" and sharing difficulties with people of the association.
Accordingly, the Lao Cai Provincial Women's Union presented cash and in-kind support, including instant noodles, drinks, and cakes; the total value of support in Au Lau and Nam Cuong wards was 12 million VND; and visited and presented gifts to the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Dong, Dong Phu residential group - a family in difficult circumstances, affected by flooding.
The activity of visiting and giving gifts shows great concern, sharing and encouragement for people affected by floods, contributing to strengthening solidarity and attachment between the Provincial Women's Union and the local people.
At the places visited and presented gifts, leaders of the Provincial Women's Union sympathized with people affected by natural disasters; at the same time, hoped that people would overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
The leaders of the Provincial Women's Union also requested that the grassroots women's union pay attention to the lives of its members, women and people affected by floods in the locality, especially poor households, disadvantaged families and the elderly.
Gifts given to people in disaster-affected areas will help them have more motivation to overcome immediate difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
