Today, December 26, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department held a meeting with social opinion collaborators for the fourth quarter of 2024, deploying tasks for 2025.
In the fourth quarter of 2024, public opinion in the province is interested in the success of the visit and work of General Secretary and President To Lam in Quang Tri province. The results of the visit opened up opportunities for the province to exploit the potential and strengths of the locality, remove difficulties and obstacles, creating favorable conditions for people and businesses to invest and promote production and business.

Accordingly, the Prime Minister assigned 4 Deputy Prime Ministers to monitor and direct the recommendations and proposals of Quang Tri province. Public opinion hopes that under the close direction of the Prime Minister, Quang Tri province will have remarkable development and growth in the coming time.
Public opinion is also concerned about the situation of enterprises owing social insurance, unemployment insurance, and health insurance payments of over VND 57 billion by September 30, 2024, which has affected the jobs, lives, and rights of workers.
The situation of trading, using, transporting, and storing drugs, fireworks, and smuggled goods is becoming more and more sophisticated and complicated, causing anxiety and worry for people, especially in the last months of the year.
The implementation of the arrangement and reorganization of agencies and units in the political system in the spirit of Resolution 18 of the 12th Party Central Committee requires outstanding policies for redundant cadres due to arrangement and cadres who voluntarily retire before the age.
The activities of the public opinion collaborators have focused on monitoring and grasping social issues of interest and importance in the locality and field under their charge; opinions of cadres, party members, and people reflected through various information channels in a timely and effective manner, contributing to orienting public opinion and strengthening people's trust.
Regarding the direction and key tasks in 2025, the activities of the team of social opinion collaborators in the province focus on information, propaganda, grasping and orienting public opinion on contents related to party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.
Implementing the policy and research plan to reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, operate effectively and efficiently, and meet the requirements and tasks in the new period. Propagating and grasping public opinion on the organization of major holidays in 2025; grasping, monitoring, and synthesizing public opinion on issues related to major projects being implemented in the province.
In the immediate future, in the first quarter of 2025, pay attention to grasping public opinion on organizing activities to support the poor and people to celebrate Tet and welcome spring on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of At Ty; implementing policies for people with meritorious services; strengthening information work, orienting the ideology of cadres, party members and people; advising the Party Committee and government in orienting ideology and public opinion and taking timely measures to adjust policies and guidelines to strengthen the leadership and direction of Party Committees and government at all levels, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic development goals and tasks, maintaining national defense, security and social order and safety.
