Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Ha Giang province celebrates Buddha's birthday, Buddhist calendar 2569 - Gregorian calendar 2025

On April 30, at Thien An Pagoda, Bac Quang District, the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Ha Giang Province held a ceremony to celebrate Buddha's birthday, Buddhist calendar 2569 - Gregorian calendar 2025. Attending the ceremony were leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ha Giang Province; leaders of a number of provincial departments; the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Ha Giang Province, along with a large number of monks, nuns, and Buddhists.

Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Giang province Duong Anh Phuong presented a flower basket from the provincial leaders to congratulate Buddha's birthday.

The delegates, monks, nuns and Buddhists reviewed the history of Buddha's birthday, chanted Buddha's name to pray for blessings, offered flowers to Buddha, listened to the speech of the President of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, and practiced the sacred ritual of offering incense and bathing the Buddha. Buddha's birthday is an activity of Buddhists around the world to celebrate three important events of Buddha: Buddha's birth, Buddha's enlightenment and Buddha's Nirvana.

The 2025 Buddha's Birthday was held in a heroic atmosphere of the entire Party, people and army to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification on April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025. Therefore, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Ha Giang province called on monks, nuns and Buddhists to join Ha Giang province in general and Bac Quang district in particular to carry out patriotic emulation movements, build cultural life; organize many humanitarian, charitable and social security activities. On this occasion, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Ha Giang province presented gifts to veterans in Bac Quang district who directly participated in the resistance war against the US to save the country.
