Thanks to the work of mobilizing people to participate in implementing security and order movements (ANTT) of the Front and socio- political organizations, thousands of valuable information are provided to the authorities. This helps the police handle many cases, making an important contribution to maintaining security and order, stabilizing people's lives.

Thu Duc City authorities coordinate to protect security and order in the area bordering Binh Duong province.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Kiet - Deputy Chief of District 8 Police (HCMC) said that recently, the district police force has coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front and member organizations at all levels in the district to implement many highly effective models. Among them, the "5+1" model was implemented 10 years ago. The model was created to manage, reform, and educate people who have made mistakes, and support their livelihoods. According to Mr. Kiet, every year, District 8 regularly organizes meetings, encourages, supports, and gives gifts to people who have made mistakes. As a result, more than 400 people who have made mistakes in District 8 have been supported to rise up.

Besides the “5+1” model, a similar model is also being implemented in District 8, which is the model of “Managing, transforming, educating, and helping people who have made mistakes in the community”. Although it has only been implemented for about a year, this model is currently organizing and assigning help to about 1,200 people.

Discussing the security and order movement in the area, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Hong - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thu Duc City (HCMC) said that the movements in Thu Duc City are increasingly developing in both content and form, arousing the strength and potential of the people. According to Ms. Hong, the Thu Duc Front coordinates to build and expand the activities of mass models, including many good models and clubs that have promoted effectiveness such as: "Self-managed household groups on security and order", 486 "Self-managed boarding houses"; Safe apartment buildings for fire prevention, fighting and rescue; Self-managed shock motorbike taxi teams; Model of installing security camera systems on roads and alleys in residential areas.

Ms. Ho Thi Dan Thanh - Head of the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Farmers' Association informed that in the past year, the Association's grassroots organizations have mobilized the establishment of 58 new models of Farmers taking the initiative to prevent social evils and self-management groups on security and order, bringing the total number of models of the city's farmers' association members to 220, preventing 48 cases of law violations in the locality. Notably, the "Security and Order Surveillance Camera" model in Tan Thoi Nhi commune (Hoc Mon district) has been effective, contributing to preventing 11 cases of law violations...

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thang Long - Deputy Chief of Staff (Ho Chi Minh City Police) said that from 2023 to now, people have provided authorities with over 16,000 pieces of information related to security and order, of which nearly 6,000 pieces of information are valuable. Thanks to valuable information from people, the police force has handled nearly 2,000 cases, with over 2,200 subjects violating administrative laws and showing signs of violating criminal law.

Ms. Duong Thi Huyen Tram - Head of the Movement Department, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City said that the Front always identifies mobilizing the strength of the entire people to participate in crime prevention as one of the key tasks to coordinate with units to implement. Accordingly, it has coordinated with the city's police force and the entire political system to propose many synchronous solutions to ensure good security and order situation such as: Consulting with Party committees and authorities to strengthen inspection, supervision, handling of violations, thoroughly resolving arising incidents; improving the effectiveness of state management of security and order, especially residence management, fire prevention and fighting; building and maintaining models of the movement "All people protect national security" in residential areas...

According to Mr. Pham Minh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, first of all, it is necessary to identify the mobilization of the strength of the entire population to participate in crime prevention as a content that needs to be implemented regularly. Next, it is necessary to mobilize people to detect and denounce crimes as well as to carry out well the work of educating and creating jobs for criminals. In key areas, self-management models or models implemented by the people must be thoroughly promoted.

Mr. Tuan said that the work of transforming complicated areas in terms of social order and security in the coming time requires units to continue to innovate the content, form, and measures to improve the effectiveness of propaganda work and closely monitor the area, in order to build and strongly promote the "People's Heart Position". In particular, building a clean and healthy social environment from each family, neighborhood, and hamlet. This is one of the key solutions in the Front's propaganda activities.
