Hanoi publicly announced 17 cases of violations of not putting land into use.
The Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Environment has just published a document publicly announcing cases of land law violations, "holding prime land" and then abandoning it, with 17 violations being investment projects that have not put the land into use for 12 consecutive months, or have been 24 months behind schedule in using the land. These projects have been extended or had the time to put the land into use extended.
During the review, the Department of Agriculture and Environment also removed the public information on violations in 7 cases. The Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Environment requested the People's Committees of communes and wards to direct the public and transparent information on handling cases of "holding prime land" and then abandoning it. Relevant departments, branches and agencies are required to coordinate in publicizing information on projects that are behind schedule, forced, revoked or terminated according to regulations.
According to the Department of Housing and Real Estate Market Management ( Ministry of Construction ), in the previous period, many projects were not allowed to be implemented, did not meet the conditions for capital mobilization, and there were even many cases where investors deliberately appropriated customers' capital to invest in many projects at the same time, or used capital for other purposes... causing none of the investor's projects to be completed on schedule. This not only caused economic damage but also affected the stability of the real estate market.
