According to information from Hanoi Drainage Company Limited, due to the influence of storm No. 10, there will be scattered rain in the city from 7:00 a.m. until now and concentrated rain with high intensity from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

According to the forecast of the Northern Hydrometeorological Station, this afternoon and evening, in Hanoi city, there will continue to be moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, so flooding is forecast to occur on a large scale.

Pumping stations Yen So, Cau Buu, Dong Bong 1, 2, Co Nhue, Da Sy... have been operating at 100% capacity to quickly lower the water level in the system.

According to the assessment of Hanoi Drainage Company, the drainage system of Hanoi City currently only ensures drainage for rains with a density of 310 mm/48 hours, but from 7:00 to 14:30 on September 30, the area with the highest rainfall was over 366 mm and higher in some places.
