Hai Duong has 35 more high-tech, advanced, new, clean enterprises

Among them, there is one high-tech enterprise certified by the Ministry of Science and Technology, which is Hyundai Kefico Vietnam Co., Ltd.

Hyundai Kefico Vietnam Co., Ltd. specializes in manufacturing smart electronic components for automobiles. This is a Korean enterprise with a total FDI capital of 400 million USD, leading in Hai Duong province.

According to the assessment of the Department of Industry and Trade, when more industrial clusters and industrial zones in the province complete their infrastructure, they will attract more businesses. Therefore, the goal of having 100 new technology, advanced technology, clean technology, and high technology enterprises in the province by 2025 can be achieved.

Currently, the high-tech industry still accounts for a very small proportion of the total industrial production value of Hai Duong (about 2% in 2020). The production value of the high-tech industry is estimated to reach an average of about 13,150 billion VND/year from 2021 to 2024. It is estimated that by 2025, the high-tech industry will contribute 3% to the total industrial production value of the whole province.
