Hai Phong: Urgently clearing land, speeding up progress of the vital road connecting DT354 and QL10

Approved by the Hai Phong City People's Committee under Decision No. 889/2023, the project will be implemented from 2024 to 2026. Immediately after the investment decision was issued, localities with the route passing through urgently took action, considering site clearance as the top priority task.

Up to now, the first phase of site clearance work of the project has been basically completed, creating a solid foundation for contractors to speed up construction progress.

354 positive — Contractors constructing the package through Tien Lang commune (Hai Phong city)

In Tien Lang commune, with a recovered area of up to 19.8 hectares, involving 534 households (including 14 households with residential land, 516 households with agricultural land) and 4 organizations, the commune has achieved remarkable results. By early October 2025, 532/534 households had agreed and completed the land acquisition, only 2 households were in the process of mobilizing and completing the plan.

Vinh Thuan commune, with 10 hectares of project land passing through, involving 271 households and organizations (including 45 households with residential land, 224 households with agricultural land and 2 organizations), has completed site clearance early since the beginning of 2025. This is a bright spot, demonstrating the consensus and high determination of the local government and people.

On the basis of the clean land handed over, the contractors have urgently started construction, turning the empty lots into bustling construction sites.

Package 19, the section from Tien Thanh Bridge to National Highway 10, is witnessing remarkable progress. Tien Thanh Bridge has basically completed the structural construction, preparing the bridge surface and installing the lighting system. The road connecting to National Highway 10, especially the section passing through Vinh Thuan Commune, has basically completed the construction of the roadbed, drainage system and resettlement items, ready for the next steps.

To ensure the project is completed on schedule, the People's Committee of Tien Lang Commune and the Tien Lang Area Project Management Board are focusing on completing site clearance for the remaining two households before October 15, 2025. This is an urgent task to hand over the entire clean site to the investor and contractor.

In addition, the units are also carefully reviewing the expanded area of phase 2 of the project, ready for site clearance work.

The route from Provincial Road 354 to National Highway 10 is not only a simple traffic project but also a symbol of the dynamic development of Hai Phong. When completed, the route will create a strong driving force, promote the socio -economic development of the region, contributing to the completion of the synchronous and modern traffic network of the Port City.
