The vibrant festival of cultural and culinary quintessence of Ca Mau, gathering hundreds of delicious dishes typical of the land of Dat Mui. The event not only gives visitors the opportunity to enjoy specialties but is also an opportunity to promote and affirm the tourism brand of Ca Mau.

From rustic dishes such as salted crabs, grilled mudskippers with salt and chili to famous products such as Ca Mau crabs, freshwater shrimps, and U Minh fish sauce, all create a colorful culinary picture. The fair space is designed like a miniature rural market, recreating the life of the river, allowing visitors to both eat and immerse themselves in the local culture.

The festival “Quintessence of Ca Mau culinary culture” gathered more than 100 culinary booths with typical OCOP products of Ca Mau and Ho Chi Minh City. Of which, 30 OCOP booths came from localities in Ca Mau province, introducing over 130 unique products, creating a vivid picture of the richness and uniqueness of the cuisine of each region.

A representative of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau said the festival is an important activity to introduce typical products, create highlights to attract tourists, and at the same time open up opportunities for cooperation and connection for local businesses and households.

Many tourists affirm that coming to Ca Mau now is not only a journey to the southernmost point of the country but also an unforgettable cultural and culinary experience. “Each dish carries the soul of the land, like a part of a memory to remember forever,” one tourist shared.
