Long Binh Ward gives 300 Mid-Autumn gifts to children

(CTO) - On the evening of October 2, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Binh Ward organized the "Full Moon Festival Night" in 2025 with the theme "Lanterns light up dreams". Ms. Ma Thi Tuoi, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the People's Council of Can Tho City, attended.

Ms. Ma Thi Tuoi, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the People's Council of Can Tho City, presented Mid-Autumn gifts to children.

At the festival, 300 Mid-Autumn gifts, each worth 100,000 VND (including moon cakes, pia cakes and lanterns) were given to disadvantaged children and orphans from poor and near-poor households in the ward. The total cost of the gifts was 30 million VND, supported by the ward's departments, branches and organizations, mobilizing benefactors inside and outside the locality.

In addition, children can also participate in activities such as breaking the cake, carrying lanterns, Uncle Ho's portrait, carrying cakes and attractive performances, bringing a warm and joyful Mid-Autumn atmosphere.
