Journey to explore the 300-year-old stone temple - Part 2

Phu Da Temple is located on a high mound shaped like a turtle's shell, surrounded by a lake on three sides, creating a peaceful and ancient scene. The most prominent feature of the temple is the main construction material of green stone, from the steps, pillars, surrounding walls to the statues of guards, elephants, horses and steles. Green stone was transported from Thanh Hoa, through the talented hands of ancient artisans, it became sophisticated sculptures.

Details from the steps, statues of guards, elephants, horses, stele, altar are all made of stone, demonstrating the master sculpting techniques of the ancients. After more than 300 years of history with many changes, Phu Da Stone Temple still retains its unique architectural features and has become an important historical and cultural relic, the pride of Vinh Phuc people .
