The Gumball 3000 supercar journey will depart from Ho Chi Minh City across Southeast Asia.

The Gumball 3000 journey has officially confirmed its 25th anniversary event via the Southeast Asian route with the participation of many international superstars and a converging supercar fleet. Starting from Ho Chi Minh City, the 3,000km journey will last 6 days, passing through 5 countries including Vietnam - Cambodia - Thailand - Malaysia - Singapore, with many festival events revolving around the theme of cars, music and connecting exchanges between stars in many fields.

The highlight of the event is that more than 100 rare supercars - from classic Porsches to Bugatti and Koenigsegg supercars... will gather and move along the route. Each car is directly driven on the route by its owners - including prominent names in the music industry, famous artists, royals, sports stars, gamers, YouTubers, entrepreneurs and many other influential people from more than 40 countries.

This year, the group will be led by the Lamborghini SVJ driven by Maximillion Cooper - the British founder (with the familiar account "Mr Gumball 3000" on social networking sites) and YouTuber James Walker (famous for the account "Mr JWW" specializing in reviewing and sharing content about supercars). Many names familiar to the Vietnamese public are also confirmed to participate, including American streamer IShow Speed ​​with the Lamborghini Huracan STO; Manchester United and French football legend Patrice Evra will participate with the Rolls Royce Cullinan.

Australian YouTubers Lazarbeam, Lachlan Power and British YouTuber Sidemen Vikkstar will be driving a Land Rover Defender; American YouTuber DailyDrivenExotics (DDE) will be arriving with a Lamborghini SVJ, dubbed the “loudest Lamborghini”. Music fans will also be greeted by American rappers Ja Rule and Bun B, while sports fans will get to meet former rugby star Jimmy Graham and baseball Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr. Vietnamese entertainment industry will also be present, with rapper BinZ, the “poet” of the Vietnamese rap community, being the first name confirmed to be joining the journey.

The 25th anniversary of Gumball 3000 will kick off in the center of Ho Chi Minh City on Saturday (September 14, 2024) with a free event on Le Loi Boulevard for all fans to see the supercars and enjoy the festival atmosphere - magnificent music, with the participation of famous DJs such as Martin2Smoove, Andy Purnell, CJ Beatz and many other special guests. On Sunday afternoon (September 15, 2024), IShowSpeed ​​will be the flag bearer for the convoy to depart and enter the first leg of the journey from Le Loi Boulevard (center of Ho Chi Minh City) to explore the famous Cu Chi tunnels. On the same day, the convoy will move to Phnom Penh (Cambodia) and continue to participate in the following music and exchange activities.

The Gumball 3000 Foundation will host its annual charity gala and auction in partnership with Christie's at Angkor Wat - known as the "Eighth Wonder of the World".

From Phnom Penh, the journey will head north and stop at one of the world’s most stunning ancient temple sites – Angkor Wat (Siem Reap). On Monday evening (September 16, 2024), Gumball 3000 will host its annual charity gala and auction in partnership with Christie’s at Angkor Wat – dubbed the “Eighth Wonder of the World”. The money raised will be used by Gumball 3000 to support youth programs around the world. These include building a floating playground for local communities in Kampong Kleang (Cambodia) and providing skateboarding equipment (as part of the “Supply the Ride” campaign) to countries along the route in partnership with The Skatepark Project. On Tuesday morning (September 17, 2024), Gumball will set a new Guinness World Record for the largest supercar display ever held at one of the Wonders of the World - Angkor Wat. The journey will then head to Thailand, ready for a night of Thai boxing and music at the outdoor area of ​​Central World in Bangkok.

The money raised will be used by the Gumball 3000 Foundation to support youth programs around the world.

Leaving Bangkok, the convoy will venture through lush tropical forests to the beautiful Krabi Peninsula (Thailand) on September 18 and 19, 2024. After Krabi, the journey will continue into Malaysia and stop in the futuristic city of Kuala Lumpur, hosting an exclusive concert with American rapper Ja Rule at The Exchange TRX Shopping Mall on Friday night (September 20, 2024). Finally, the adventure will end in Singapore on Saturday (September 21, 2024), awaiting the F1 racing event that will be held at the same time in Singapore. This is also where the prestigious trophy of the journey - the Asprey's Spirit of Gumball Cup, will be presented to the winner in a luxurious and classy space at Marina Bay Sands. Sharing about the journey, Mr. Maximillion Cooper - founder of Gumball 3000 journey said: “This journey is truly a wonderful and meaningful gift to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Gumball 3000. Together we will explore new cultures, connect with like-minded souls from all countries, experience the wonderful roads of this beautiful region. And above all, we will join hands to give young people better things in life”.
