VOV.VN - After 15 days of free operation, the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station metro train has officially entered the ticket sales phase. Although there is no longer the crowded scene like before, the first day of ticket sales for this metro line still attracted users.
According to VOV Traffic reporters, on the first day of toll collection at 8 stations of the Nhon - Hanoi railway station urban railway line, a large number of people lined up to buy tickets to travel by this form of public transport.
Overall, the number of passengers arriving at stations has decreased compared to the days when the trains ran for free, but the positive sign is that the train cars are almost full during rush hour.

Or people can easily buy tickets at the automatic ticket machine. Because there are only about ten days left until the end of the month, the operator only applies to customers who buy single tickets and daily tickets. Buying monthly tickets allows passengers to use them from September 2024.
The number of potential customers of the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station metro line is showing signs of increasing. Especially students. Hieu Minh (in blue shirt), a second-year student at Hanoi University of Industry, shared: “My house is about 70m from Cau Giay station, so it’s very convenient since the train started. Usually, when I take the bus to school, it’s very congested, sometimes I’m late for class.”
Passengers are mostly students and office workers.
Besides, the train station is still an ideal check-in location for young people.
According to the current fare plan, a one-way ticket for the route is 8,000 VND/trip, 12,000 VND/trip for the entire route. A daily ticket costs 24,000 VND, valid for the day and has no limit on the number of trips. People can also buy a monthly ticket for 200,000 VND/month, with priority given to students at 100,000 VND/month. If buying in groups and not belonging to the priority group, the monthly ticket price is 140,000 VND.
