H'Hen Nie, Ngoc Chau, Xuan Hanh went on a raft to the catwalk in Le Thanh Hoa's show

The fashion show introducing the Fall Winter 2024 collection by designer Le Thanh Hoa was held on the afternoon of September 20 in Trang An, Ninh Binh after being postponed due to weather conditions.

Participating in the show were the trio of Miss Universe Vietnam H'Hen Nie, Ngoc Chau, Xuan Hanh and 59 contestants of Miss Cosmo 2024. The show was highly appreciated for its aesthetics and national cultural values. The appearance on the raft of the three Vietnamese beauties was exciting and was an impressive highlight of the show.

The catwalk was located on Khe Coc Island, a famous site in Trang An scenic area in Ninh Binh province. Due to the weather in the previous days, the main semicircular catwalk was submerged deep under the water. Therefore, the models could only perform on the stage straight to the edge of the lake, but it did not affect the effect of the program.

Three Miss Vietnam opened the show as first-face. Instead of stepping onto the catwalk from behind the stage as usual, the three beauties appeared on a bamboo raft, slowly walking towards the catwalk amidst melodious music . The beauty queens showed off their professional catwalk skills with evening gowns designed with long skirts and elaborate 3D shapes.

Inspired by the flow of Vietnamese culture, the Fall Winter 2024 collection is a harmony between traditional and modern beauty.

Using poetic fashion language, the designer skillfully incorporates familiar images such as rice plants, lotus flowers, green mountains and blue water into dresses. Traditional details such as gold thread embroidery on velvet fabric, layered fish scale embellishments when combined with modern shapes create an interesting effect.

The collection includes familiar shapes such as A-line dresses, mini dresses, and long dresses that are renewed through varied details and sophisticated handcraft techniques. The designer gradually blurs the gap between practicality and uniqueness in fashion.

With his strength in 3D modeling techniques, he takes care to create impressive shapes for each design.

Besides high-quality materials such as velvet, taffeta, chiffon... which are skillfully processed, using draping, embellishment, quilting, or wool thread running techniques on tulle, he also impressed by using Ma Chau silk, a famous "difficult" material.

Designer Le Thanh Hoa was born in 1985, graduated as valedictorian of the fashion department of the University of Architecture, Ho Chi Minh City. He is widely known for his elegant and sophisticated design style, focusing on high-quality materials and special techniques.
