Ha Tinh: A principal was dismissed for allowing many violations in management.

On October 4, the leader of Kim Hoa commune (Ha Tinh province) said that the locality had just issued a decision to remove Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy from her position as Principal of Son Ham Kindergarten. Previously, the Kim Hoa commune Party Committee also decided to discipline and remove the school's Party cell secretary.

According to the authorities, Ms. Thuy committed many violations during the management process, did not comply with the direction and operation of the Commune People's Committee and related agencies, leading to impacts on the rights of cadres, teachers, employees as well as the educational activities of the unit.

Specifically, on September 12, 2025, the People's Committee of Son Ham commune issued Document No. 111 to the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province, the Department of Finance, and the Department of Education and Training of the province regarding the fact that Son Ham Kindergarten has not paid salaries and allowances to cadres, teachers, and employees from July 1, 2025 to the time the commune issued the above document.

According to the report, from July 1, 2025, Kim Hoa Commune People's Committee has received, handed over documents, minutes and implemented the contents according to Decision No. 1598/QD-UBND on transferring educational public service units under the district-level People's Committee to the new commune-level People's Committee.

On July 4, 2025, the People's Committee of Kim Hoa commune issued Official Dispatch No. 13/UBND-NV guiding the withdrawal and registration of new seals for schools under the 2-level local government model. To date, 8/8 schools in the area have changed their seals according to regulations.

The Commune People's Committee also issued many invitations and notices to carry out the tasks, but the Principal of Son Ham Kindergarten was absent without reason from 5 important meetings. In addition, despite being requested many times, Ms. Thuy did not register her signature and open an account at the State Treasury to pay salaries and allowances to cadres, teachers and employees.

Up to now, 7/8 schools in Kim Hoa commune have completed the registration of signatures, budget estimate accounts and paid salaries for July, August and September to staff, teachers and employees according to regulations. Son Ham Kindergarten has not yet done so, causing 15 staff and teachers to not receive their salaries for many months.

The leaders of Kim Hoa commune affirmed that the failure to cooperate and comply with the direction and management of the Principal of Son Ham Kindergarten has seriously affected the legitimate rights and interests of the school's staff, teachers and employees, as well as the political and ideological situation in the locality. Therefore, the removal of Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy from the position of Party Cell Secretary and Principal is necessary to ensure discipline and stability in educational activities in the area.

Kim Hoa commune leaders said that after disciplining and removing Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy from her position, the locality assigned Ms. Tran Thi Lan Anh - Vice Principal of Son Ham Kindergarten to temporarily take over as Acting Principal.
