Coach Shin Tae Young has "miracle doctor" Choi Ju Young before competing with Vietnam

Dr. Choi Ju Young was a former assistant to Coach Park Hang-seo during the time the Korean coach accompanied Vietnam football. According to Indonesian media, Dr. Choi joined the Indonesian team on a short-term contract, until the end of the 2023 Asian Cup. He will act as a physiotherapist for the team during the tournament.

Mr. Choi is a famous sports doctor in Korea, once affectionately called a “miracle doctor” by Vietnamese football fans. Not only did he accompany Coach Park Hang-seo in the Vietnam national team, but before that, he was also named with Mr. Park as an assistant to Coach Hiddink to attend the 2002 World Cup.

The Indonesian team is currently training in Türkiye and will have two friendly matches against the Libyan team on January 2 and 5. These are two important friendly matches for Indonesia before the 2023 Asian Cup, a tournament in which they are in the same group with the teams of Japan, Iraq and Vietnam.
