(Dan Tri) - After Lam Dong province authorities pointed out errors in the construction of the flower festival stage scaffolding, the event organizer completed the documents and continued construction.
On November 28, the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province said that the Lam Dong Provincial Center for Culture and Arts has coordinated with Gia Pham Trading Joint Stock Company (Gia Pham Company) and related units to complete the technical design documents for the construction of stage scaffolding to serve the opening of the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival in 2024.

Gia Pham Company has signed contracts with design, construction and supervision units in accordance with regulations and is qualified to continue construction.
Mr. Pham Xuan Hai, Director of Gia Pham Company, said that the construction of stage scaffolding for the festival has reached 60% of the volume and is expected to be completed on December 1.
Previously, the Lam Dong Department of Construction inspected and determined that Gia Pham Company constructed the festival stage scaffolding without being appraised and approved according to regulations; the construction and supervision process was not carried out by a qualified contractor; and there were no documents proving that it ensured safety conditions for the festival opening ceremony.

Lam Dong Province Department of Construction has requested Gia Pham Company to appraise and approve the construction design for the above project; inspect the quality and evaluate the load-bearing safety of the stage scaffolding system, stands, etc.
Lam Dong Department of Construction requests the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to urge Gia Pham Company to comply with construction laws. In case Gia Pham Company does not comply with the regulations, review and terminate the contract or propose Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee to handle it according to regulations.
As Dan Tri reported, the opening ceremony of the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival in 2024 was held on the night of December 5 at Lam Vien Square, Da Lat City, Lam Dong. Gia Pham Company is the contractor for the main stage and stands to organize the opening and closing ceremonies of the Festival.
