More than 1,600 billion VND invested in the road connecting the Western Ring Road to the La Son - Tuy Loan Expressway

DNO - The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just issued a decision approving the project of the road connecting the Western Belt Road to the La Son - Tuy Loan Expressway with an investment of more than 1,600 billion VND.

Accordingly, the project is implemented in Ba Na commune and Lien Chieu ward. The starting point of the route intersects with the Western Belt Road in Ba Na commune; the end point intersects with the Hai Van - Tuy Loan tunnel's South branch line, in Lien Chieu ward.

The project implementation period is from 2025 to 2028. The investment in the construction of this route will contribute to completing the main traffic network according to the general planning project of Da Nang city until 2030, with a vision to 2045.

At the same time, complete the high-quality beltway in the South and West of the city, serving the travel needs within the inner city, inter-urban areas and connecting key economic zones of Da Nang.

The project also helps promote the effectiveness of investment in key projects, connecting the Concentrated Information Technology Park, High-Tech Park, Hoa Ninh Industrial Park... with the main traffic axes of the city, meeting future transportation needs, especially transporting goods from Lien Chieu Port to the South, West of the city and vice versa.

In addition, the project will form a National Highway 1 bypass through the inner city area, replacing the Hai Van Tunnel South bypass (Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan section) which has been upgraded and expanded into a highway.

Thereby contributing to reducing the load on central traffic axes, especially during rush hours and minimizing traffic accidents.
