Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh holds the position of Chairwoman of Ba Dinh Ward Trade Union.

On the afternoon of October 6, Ba Dinh ward organized the announcement of the Decision to establish the ward Trade Union and handed over decisions on personnel work.

At the conference, representatives of the Hanoi City Labor Federation announced the decisions of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Labor Federation on the establishment of the Ba Dinh Ward Trade Union; appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee and positions of the Ward Trade Union.

Accordingly, the Executive Committee of Ba Dinh Ward Trade Union was appointed to consist of 11 members. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh is the Chairwoman of Ba Dinh Ward Trade Union.

In his speech, Party Secretary and Chairman of Ba Dinh Ward People's Council Pham Quang Thanh suggested that Ba Dinh Ward Trade Union needs to have a new approach in the context of changing nature of trade union activities.

Mr. Pham Quang Thanh suggested that, in the immediate future, the Ward Trade Union should focus on successfully organizing the 1st Ward Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030; at the same time, continue to review the number of grassroots trade unions, stabilize the new model organization; focus on caring for and protecting the rights of union members; actively and effectively contribute to the work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward in particular and Ba Dinh ward in general.
