On December 11, Bac Kan Provincial Party Committee held a Steering Committee Conference to implement Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2027 of the 12th Party Central Committee on a number of issues on innovation and reorganization of the political system.
Bac Kan province drafted 8 specific tasks, including: Ending the activities of the Party delegations, Party executive committees at the provincial level; Party Committees of Provincial Agencies; Provincial Health Care Committee for Cadres; Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs. Merging the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee with the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Department of Planning and Investment and Department of Finance; Department of Transport and Department of Construction; Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and Department of Natural Resources and Environment; Department of Information and Communications and Department of Science and Technology. Establishing 2 new Party Committees under the Provincial Party Committee (Party Committee of Party agencies, unions, justice at the provincial level and Party Committee of provincial government). Researching and reorganizing the activities of mass organizations assigned by the Party and State.
At the Conference, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee presented a proposal to reorganize the apparatus of provincial and district-level agencies and units based on the merger of units and departments with similar functions and tasks; expected names of new units after the merger. Proposed a plan to reorganize public service units and associations assigned by the Party and State.
Concluding the Conference, Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Duy Chinh emphasized: Bac Kan province only discussed how to organize implementation in accordance with the actual conditions of the province, not to discuss backwardness, urgently complete the projects to end operations, merge departments, branches and units before December 20; the provincial level summarizes Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW before December 26, to meet the schedule set by the Central Government.
All levels and sectors need to thoroughly educate cadres to stabilize their thinking, be steadfast in their work, and identify this as carrying out a common task under the direction of the Party. The reorganization of the political system is an opportunity to screen and find cadres with sufficient capacity and qualities to meet the requirements of the task in the new situation.
