The Central Council for Coordinating the Dissemination and Education of Law organized a Workshop to identify "bottlenecks" and propose solutions related to the Land Law.

At the workshop, delegates focused on clarifying bottlenecks and proposed many solutions to remove them for 5 main contents: planning, land use plans; land recovery, compensation, support, resettlement when the State recovers land; land allocation, land lease, permission to change land use purposes; land finance, land prices; on perfecting the national land information system, land database.

This is a workshop of practical significance in the current period, especially in the current context where the Party and the State have been strongly directing the amendment and supplementation of the Land Law and are expected to submit it to the National Assembly at the upcoming 10th Session. In addition, the Land Law is a fundamental and important law related to all socio-economic activities and has a key relationship with other laws of the economy such as the Law on Planning; Law on Urban and Rural Planning; and Law on Investment.

Speaking at the workshop, Deputy Minister of Justice - Nguyen Thanh Ngoc said that the Land Law is one of the particularly important fields, directly affecting the rights and legitimate interests of the State, enterprises and people. Land is both a valuable resource and a means of production, and at the same time a great resource for the country's development, especially in the current period.

The workshop will receive and record valid opinions from delegates, so that the Central Council for Coordination of Dissemination and Education of Law has an objective and comprehensive database, serving the synthesis of Government reports, submitting to competent authorities for research and completion of the Land Law in the coming time.
