Tây Ninh: Hội thảo và khảo sát đánh giá thực trạng công tác theo dõi thi hành pháp luật trong lĩnh vực bảo vệ môi trường trên địa bàn tỉnh

Ngày 12/9/2025, tại Sở Tư pháp tỉnh Tây Ninh; Viện Chiến lược và Khoa học pháp lý chủ trì, phối hợp Sở Tư pháp Tây Ninh tổ chức Hội thảo và khảo sát “Đánh giá thực trạng công tác theo dõi thi hành pháp luật trong lĩnh vực bảo vệ môi trường” trên địa bàn tỉnh Tây Ninh.

Attending the workshop were: Leaders of the Research Board on Strategy for Law Development, Enforcement and Industry Management - Institute of Strategy and Legal Science - Ministry of Justice. Representatives of Leaders of some provincial departments, branches and organizations; Representatives of Leaders of some communes and wards; Representatives of the Provincial Business Association, enterprises implementing typical models in circular economic development; typical units in waste classification at source in the province; representatives of specialized Departments under the Department of Justice.

Representative of the Department of Agriculture and Environment commented on the current status of implementing law enforcement monitoring in the field of environmental protection in the province.

At the workshop, delegates listened to and discussed difficulties and problems in the process of organizing and implementing regulations on environmental protection such as: Representatives of the Department of Agriculture and Environment commented on "The current situation of implementing the work of monitoring law enforcement in the field of environmental protection in the province" ; at the same time, information and reports on the work of advising and organizing the implementation of the Law on Environmental Protection in 2020, assessing and clarifying the current situation of environmental protection in the province and proposing solutions to improve and enhance the effectiveness of state management in the coming time. Comments on " The current situation of coordination in implementing the work of monitoring law enforcement in the field of environmental protection of the Provincial Police" . The Economic Zone Management Board commented on "The current situation of coordination in implementing the work of monitoring law enforcement in the field of environmental protection of the Industrial Park Management Board" .

The workshop aims to provide an overview of legal regulations in the field of environmental protection; assess the current status of law enforcement monitoring in the field of environmental protection, focusing on monitoring the law enforcement situation for a number of new contents stipulated in the Law on Environmental Protection 2020 ( regulations on the role of the community in environmental protection; regulations on promoting waste classification at source, orientation on waste management and treatment methods, contributing to promoting circular economy in Vietnam... ), clearly identify limitations , shortcomings and causes of those limitations and shortcomings; propose specific solutions to perfect legal documents on law enforcement monitoring and improve the effectiveness of law enforcement monitoring in the field of environmental protection in the coming time.

It is known that previously, the Institute of Strategy and Legal Science chaired and coordinated with the Department of Justice of Tay Ninh, the People's Committees of the communes: Can Giuoc, Duc Hoa, Gia Loc to organize a workshop and survey "Assessing the current status of law enforcement monitoring in the field of environmental protection" in the communes and wards./.
