Conference on propaganda and dissemination of laws on management and use of industrial explosives

On September 24, at the Conference Hall of Lai Chau Province Electricity Company, the Department of Industry and Trade held a conference to propagate, disseminate and thoroughly understand the Law on Management and Use of Weapons, Industrial Explosives, Support Tools and documents guiding its implementation.

Attending the conference were comrade Dong Van Thuc - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, together with representatives of leaders and experts from the departments and branches: Industry and Trade, Agriculture and Environment, Construction, Home Affairs, the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Border Guard Command, the Provincial Police; leaders of the People's Committees of communes and wards; leaders and officers in charge of units with industrial explosives activities in the province.

At the conference, delegates were introduced and disseminated by lecturers from the Department of Industrial Safety Techniques and Environment ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) the main contents of the Law on Management and Use of Weapons, Explosives and Supporting Tools No. 42/2024/QH15 dated June 29, 2024; Decree No. 181/2024/ND-CP dated December 31, 2024 of the Government detailing a number of articles of the Law on Management and Use of Weapons, Explosives and Supporting Tools regarding industrial explosives and explosive precursors; Circular No. 23/2024/TT-BCT dated November 7, 2024 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade regulating the management and use of industrial explosives and explosive precursors under the management authority of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Representatives of the Department of Industrial Safety Techniques and Environment (Ministry of Industry and Trade) introduced and disseminated the main contents of laws, decrees, and circulars on the management and use of weapons, explosives, and supporting tools.

Through the conference, the awareness and responsibility of agencies, units, organizations and individuals related to industrial explosives activities are raised; at the same time, new legal documents are promptly deployed, difficulties and obstacles in the management and use of industrial explosives in the province are removed.

This is also a practical activity contributing to enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of State management in the field of industrial explosives, ensuring safety and serving the socio -economic development of the province.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Dong Van Thuc - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade requested agencies, units and enterprises to continue to thoroughly grasp and widely disseminate to cadres, workers and employees to strictly and properly implement the law. It is necessary to combine propaganda work with inspection and supervision work, considering this a regular and continuous task to prevent and minimize the risk of insecurity and violations of the law. If units encounter difficulties or problems during the implementation process, they need to promptly report and coordinate with the Department of Industry and Trade and related sectors for guidance and resolution.
