Workshop to contribute comments on the manuscript of the book "Pleiku City Party Committee

After nearly 2 years of collecting documents and conducting research and compilation, the manuscript of the book "Pleiku City Party Committee - From Congress to Congress (1954-2025)" has been completed.

Speaking at the workshop, Secretary of the City Party Committee Trinh Duy Thuan said: The book "Pleiku City Party Committee - From Congress to Congress (1954-2025)" aims to record the process of building and growing of the City Party Committee. Over the historical journey of more than 7 decades, the Pleiku Party Committee has organized 12 congresses and directed and led the successful implementation of the task of fighting for national liberation (1954-1975) and on the path of implementing the renovation process (1975-2025), Pleiku has made a strong rise, worthy of being the political , economic, cultural and social center of Gia Lai province, an important economic driving force in the Central Highlands region and has been awarded many noble prizes by the Party and the State.

“Those results are invaluable assets, the pride of the cadres, party members and people of all ethnic groups in Pleiku City, contributing worthily to the glorious tradition in the history of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee and the Communist Party of Vietnam . Today's and future generations will forever remember the contributions of generations of cadres and party members in the Party Committee who bravely fought and sacrificed to protect national independence and liberate the homeland; worked diligently, creatively, devoted their efforts and intelligence to build socialism, successfully carried out the renovation process, and determined to build a civilized and unique Pleiku City,” emphasized Secretary of the City Party Committee Trinh Duy Thuan.

At the workshop, delegates focused on clarifying and completing a number of related contents such as: name, number of chapters according to the historical divergence of the manuscript; content, important events mentioned in each chapter; lessons learned through more than 70 years of construction and growth of the City Party Committee...
