Congress of the 28th Border Guard Squadron Youth Union

Border Guard Squadron 28 belongs to the Border Guard Command, stationed in An Bien commune ( An Giang province). In the 2022-2025 term, the Youth Union and youth movement activities of Border Guard Squadron 28 will be seriously implemented, closely following the resolutions and directives of Party committees at all levels and the unit's tasks.

The grassroots Youth Union actively innovated the content, form and methods of activities; the quality and effectiveness of the Youth Union and youth movement were gradually improved. The members and youth of the 28th Border Guard Squadron promoted their functions and tasks well, truly being the vanguard force in building a strong, exemplary and representative unit, actively participating in building the Party organization, contributing with the entire Navy Squadron to successfully complete all assigned tasks.

The movement “Young Border Guards follow in the footsteps of their fathers and brothers, worthy of Uncle Ho’s soldiers” was concretized by the Youth Union with the model of military-civilian rice jars. During the term, 720 kg of rice was saved to give to households with especially difficult circumstances in the area. The Youth Union also joined the unit to support 5 poor students with 500,000 VND/child per month; and donated more than 60 units of blood.

Speaking at the congress, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Van Nghiem, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the 28th Border Guard Squadron, emphasized that the large number of union members and youth of the squadron and the grassroots Youth Union in the past term have promoted their functions and tasks well, truly being the vanguard force in building the unit.

At the same time, it is required that in the coming term, Party committees, commanders of agencies, units and the Executive Committee of the grassroots Youth Union focus on improving qualifications in all aspects, fostering knowledge, practical capacity, methods and working style for the Youth Union cadre team. Focus on building a strong Youth Union organization, focusing on being strong in politics , ideology and organization; improve the effectiveness of coordination and twinning with local Youth Union organizations, contributing to building safe units and safe areas...
