International Conference "The Future of the Ocean: Smart Technology and Sustainable Marine Life"

Attending the workshop were Mr. Le Huyen - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Professor, Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong - Chairman of UEH Council; Professor, Dr. Su Dinh Thanh - Director of UEH; nearly 100 scientists , experts, scholars from the US, Korea, Italy, Malaysia and Singapore and representatives of departments, branches and sectors of the province.

At the workshop, scientists, experts and scholars presented nearly 30 papers on ocean technology in the green economic ecosystem; health - prosperity and the relationship between urban landscape and community; co-creation innovation for a sustainable green economy...

The workshop also has a discussion session taking place this afternoon, focusing on exchanging and discussing to have multi-dimensional perspectives on smart technology and sustainable marine life, on that basis proposing solutions for sustainable marine economic development in the context of globalization.

Within the framework of the conference program, UEH organized a signing ceremony with units and enterprises, including: Khanh Hoa Newspaper and Radio, Television, Amanoi, Six Senses Ninh Van Bay, Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam to promote cooperation, training and communication of human resource development policies.

Speaking at the workshop, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Huyen emphasized that breakthrough development in science, technology and digital transformation is an important task for Khanh Hoa to successfully implement Resolution No. 01-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Committee on economic growth in the period of 2025 - 2030, realizing the vision of becoming a high growth pole of the country. This is not only an orientation but also a practical requirement, requiring the province to take drastic and synchronous steps. Khanh Hoa also clearly identified strategic pillars including: developing ocean technology as a key industry; applying high technology in aquaculture, exploitation and protection of marine resources; comprehensive digital transformation in tourism, services and coastal urban management; synchronous investment in digital infrastructure. With a receptive spirit, the Provincial People's Committee always wishes to listen to research, perspectives, and multi-dimensional analysis from researchers and experts, contributing to helping the province have a more comprehensive view, thereby proposing solutions to realize the aspiration of becoming a center of marine economy, smart city and livable city of the region. The workshop is also a valuable opportunity to connect scholars, experts and stakeholders to jointly seek practical solutions for the locality.
