More than 36,000 people receive early retirement benefits due to streamlining the apparatus before October 15.

According to Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra, after three months of operation, the two-level government has become more organized, the apparatus has been streamlined, intermediaries have been reduced, the budget has been saved, and the efficiency of serving the people has been improved.

Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra said that before October 15, the payment of benefits to 36,542 people who retired early will be completed under the policy of streamlining the apparatus.

At the meeting on the implementation of the two-level local government model on the afternoon of October 1, the Ministry of Finance instructed localities to focus on payments, thereby resolving 3,000 more cases in just the past week.

Some ministries, departments, branches and localities have completed or reached over 90%, but there are still units below 60%. To date, there are still 36,542 people who have not received the regime, the Politburo requested to complete the payment before October 15.

The Minister emphasized the need to increase human resources at the commune level, accelerate the arrangement of public service units and state-owned enterprises, review and restructure the team, especially in specialized fields.
