More than 39,000 orchid products cover Tao Dan park

The Ho Chi Minh City Orchid Festival is held to honor orchids - the city's main agricultural product. This is an event connecting culture, tourism and urban agriculture to affirm Ho Chi Minh City as an economic locomotive and a trade bridge between regions.

According to the representative of the Department of Industry and Trade, this year's festival features a grand space with the image of a North-South train. The Ho Chi Minh City Metro plays a central role, leading visitors through "station" areas representing regions such as the Southeast, North, Central, Central Highlands and Southwest, presenting a green message towards Net Zero.

The Ho Chi Minh City Orchid Festival expanded its scale, with the participation of more than 200 artisans, gardeners and farms from all over the country and localities. The highlight is the work "Vietnamese Soul" - which won the Silver Award at the TIOS 2025 exhibition, vividly recreated.

This year's exhibition recreates the typical beauty of many countries and regions, bringing rich experiences to people.

The theme "The Multi-Colored Train" recreates the desire for peace through the image of the Thong Nhat train, departing at the same time from Hanoi and Saigon stations on December 31, 1976.

The 3rd Orchid Festival is not only a chance for artisans to shine but also an opportunity to raise environmental awareness and develop the local flower industry.

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Vo Van Hoan - Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee - called for cooperation between the Department of Industry and Trade and relevant agencies to organize seminars, online sales consulting, and market expansion.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Vy (District 4) shared: "The festival offers an opportunity to admire and learn how to care for orchids. The display booths are beautifully displayed, creating a relaxing feeling for visitors."

The festival also organizes many experiential activities such as flower dyeing, flower arranging and artistic spray painting, attracting a large audience.
