On the morning of October 2, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union held a conference to review 15 years of implementing the campaign "Building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean's" to participate in new rural construction in the period 2010 - 2025; to review Project 938 in the period 2022-2025 and the "Godmother" Program in the period 2021-2025.

This event is part of a series of activities towards the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2025).
Speaking at the program, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Vietnam Women's Union Nguyen Thi Tuyen commented that after 15 years of implementation, the campaign "Building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean's" has become a widespread movement, reaching every home, every hamlet, creating clear changes in every family, spreading strongly in the community.
The campaign's criteria do not stop at slogans, but have been concretized through specific, practical models, projects, and tasks suitable to the conditions of each locality and region.

During the period 2010-2020, the movement has truly taken root in life, from simple but meaningful actions, such as: Flower roads taken care of by women, "Shelters of Love" built in flood areas, legal training classes, family skills brought to villages. More than 90,000 poor households headed by women have escaped poverty and tens of thousands of self-managed roads, "5 no, 3 clean" models have been formed, creating changes and affirming the role of women in building new rural areas.
Entering the 2021-2025 period, the movement has made a strong shift with many initiatives and innovations, keeping up with the requirements set out in the new context. More than 18,000 projects and tasks registered to participate in new rural construction have been completed; more than 10,000 models of environmental protection and climate change adaptation; millions of women have received social security support, access to health insurance, tens of thousands of communication and training classes to help women improve their life skills, parenting skills, start-ups and economic development.

"This is a step forward in taking the movement beyond the household framework, becoming a community driving force, linking women's responsibilities with sustainable development," emphasized comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyen.
The movement's mark after 15 years is engraved through impressive models, such as: Neat and warm "3 clean" houses; colorful flower roads throughout the countryside; models of "Green living women", "Turning waste into money" spreading environmentally friendly lifestyles; to "Safe houses for women and children" becoming a solid support for vulnerable lives...
Each model not only brings practical results, but also ignites confidence, arouses the sense of responsibility, love and pride of Vietnamese women on the journey of joining hands to build new rural areas.
Implementing Project 938 on propaganda, education , mobilization, and support for women to participate in solving a number of social issues related to women, after nearly 3 years of implementing phase 2 (2022-2027), with 3 key intervention contents including: Prevention and control of domestic violence; parenting education and ensuring food safety, the Project has contributed to significantly raising legal awareness and self-protection capacity of women and children; maintaining and establishing more than 2,300 trusted addresses; over 5,000 parenting education models and more than 2,000 "Leaders of Change" clubs...
In particular, the "Godmother" Program - a humanitarian initiative born in the post-Covid-19 context, has strongly aroused the spirit of sharing, with more than 50,000 godmothers directly and indirectly supporting more than 37,000 orphans. This is not only a social security program, but also a journey connecting the community, connecting love, so that every orphan in difficult circumstances is protected, nurtured and their dreams are fulfilled.

At the program, 84 typical collectives and individuals in implementing the campaign "Building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean's" and 35 outstanding examples in the "Godmother" program were honored and rewarded.
Within the framework of the event, the exhibition "New Day Homeland" was held to introduce outstanding results and typical examples in mobilizing and supporting women to carry out the campaign to build "5 no, 3 clean" families, actively contributing to the implementation of the National Target Program on new rural construction.
