More than 86% of Ha Tinh customers pay electricity bills online

Ha Tinh Electricity Company is selling electricity to 472,230 customers, of which 86.37% use non-cash electricity payment services.

According to Mr. Phan Van Anh - Head of Business Department, Ha Tinh Electricity Company: Implementing the policy of cashless payment under the direction of the Government and the Provincial People's Committee, the company has implemented many solutions synchronously and effectively. Accordingly, the unit has introduced to customers the utilities to enjoy so that they can experience online payment services; sent documents to local authorities at all levels requesting coordination with the electricity sector to strengthen propaganda and mobilize people, especially in rural areas, to use cashless electricity payment services.

Accordingly, Ha Tinh Electricity Company has signed cooperation contracts with nearly 20 banks and intermediary organizations to provide electricity bill collection services. Using this modern service, customers can make electricity bill payments anytime, anywhere and enjoy free transaction fees; while electricity selling enterprises increase production and business efficiency.

According to records, not only in urban areas, towns, but also in rural areas, remote areas of Ha Tinh, the number of customers paying electricity bills without using cash is also constantly increasing. As of early November 2023, Ha Tinh Electricity Company sold electricity to 472,230 customers, of which 86.37% of customers used online electricity payment services.

The number of electricity customers of Ha Tinh Electricity Company as of November 1, 2023 is 472,230, an increase of 1.12% over the same period in 2022. Of which: the number of customers using electricity for daily life is 416,203 (accounting for 88.13% of the total number of customers in the whole company), non-daily customers are 56,027 (accounting for 11.87% of the total number of customers in the whole company).
