An Binh Bridge closes connecting the two banks of Vu Gia River

Deputy Director of the Quang Nam Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board - Mr. Nguyen Van Thuong said that An Binh Bridge is a very important item of the project connecting route DT609C to National Highway 14B (Dai Loc). This project has a total investment of 550 billion VND.

The project has a total route length of 3.93km (including the bridge) with a design speed of 60km/h. The roadbed cross-section is 9m wide; new lighting is invested along the entire route.

The project was announced to start construction on February 22, 2022, undertaken by a consortium of Thanh Tung Co., Ltd. and Thai Duong Construction Co., Ltd., and subcontractor Minh Khang Construction Services Co., Ltd. The supervising consultant is ECC Construction Investment and Consulting Joint Stock Company.

An Binh Bridge has a length of 1,060m with a continuous prestressed reinforced concrete box girder structure and 19 simple super T-girder spans made of prestressed reinforced concrete. Of which, the main bridge with 4 continuous cantilever spans is 290m long and 19 approach spans are 770m long. The bridge width is 9m, including 8m of vehicle running area and barriers, each side has a 0.5m wide railing.

The joint venture contractor has completed the construction of the bridge's lower section; cast cantilever beams on the piers; closed the border spans... Today, the investor and the joint venture contractor proceeded to close the final central cantilever span. It is expected that by June 30, 2024, the joint venture contractor will complete the asphalt concrete of An Binh bridge's surface and complete the installation of railings.

As reported by Quang Nam Newspaper, the project connecting the road from DT609C to National Highway 14B, when completed, will be seamlessly connected with the project connecting the road from National Highway 14H to DT609C (including Song Thu Bridge), becoming a new strategic horizontal axis of the northwest region according to the plan.

People and tourists can travel from National Highway 14B, over An Binh Bridge to Dai Loc B area, over Song Thu Bridge to Duy Xuyen area, and join National Highway 14H right at the intersection of the road to My Son temple complex.
