Meeting with overseas Vietnamese and their relatives on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2024

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024, on February 1, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province organized a meeting with overseas Vietnamese and their relatives. Attending were members of the Provincial Party Committee: Le Van Binh, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; Tran Minh Luc, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; and Trinh Minh Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the meeting, the provincial leaders acknowledged the positive contributions of overseas Vietnamese in activities of connection, investment in economic development, charity, social security, and community support in their homeland. At the same time, they affirmed that the province always listens to and grasps the thoughts and aspirations of overseas Vietnamese; hopes that overseas Vietnamese and their relatives will continue to support and contribute to local socio-economic development activities; promote national cultural identity, preserve the Vietnamese language, turn to their homeland, unite and help each other in the country of residence, and strengthen the great national unity bloc.

On this occasion, the provincial leaders wished overseas Vietnamese and their relatives a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year celebrating the traditional New Year at home.

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, overseas Vietnamese expressed their joy at the development and changes of their home province and their desire to contribute to the development of their homeland, actively carry out social security activities, join hands to build a strong community, support and help each other develop the economy and preserve national identity, preserve and promote Vietnamese culture; at the same time, introduce and call for investment in the socio-economic development of the province.
