Hung Yen informs about the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030

The 1st Congress of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, will be held on October 2 and 3, at the Provincial Labor Cultural House (Tra Ly ward).

On the afternoon of September 25, Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee held a press conference to inform about the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

The 1st Congress of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, will be held on October 2 and 3, at the Provincial Labor Cultural House (Tra Ly ward).

The Congress convened 438 delegates, representing over 182,000 party members in the entire Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee (including 69 ex-officio delegates and 369 official delegates). The Standing Committee of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee will appoint 112 alternate delegates to replace the official delegates when necessary.

Regarding personnel work, the Party Executive Committee of Hung Yen province has submitted to the Politburo , the Secretariat, and the Central Organizing Committee the appointment of personnel to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, the Secretary, and the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term and the personnel plan for the leadership of the People's Council, the People's Committee; and the leadership of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation for the 2026-2031 term.

One of the highlights is that in the personnel structure of the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the new term, the proportion of cadres with scientific and technological qualifications is high. This is the concretization of the policy of developing science and technology, innovation and digital transformation.

At the conference, Permanent Vice Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Quang Hung informed about the results of implementing the Resolution of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term, the results of implementing the two-level local government in the past time and the goals, tasks and development solutions for the next 5 years.

According to the report, over the past 5 years, the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization and Party members, especially the Provincial Party Executive Committee and the Provincial Party Standing Committee, have been significantly improved, affirming their prestige, role, and comprehensive, core leadership capacity.

The organization of the political system is streamlined in association with building a digital government, an honest, responsible, people-oriented, people-serving government.

Hung Yen economy is considered to develop quite comprehensively, quickly and sustainably with many outstanding results, creating breakthroughs in a number of fields. Notably, the GRDP growth rate, resource mobilization, investment, and socio-economic infrastructure development.

The overall strength and power of Hung Yen province's economy have been enhanced thanks to rapid and continuous growth. The role and position of Hung Yen province in regional connectivity are increasingly important, especially in connecting transport infrastructure and industrial and agricultural production chains.

Local budget revenues have increased rapidly; revenue sources and revenue bases have been expanded. The economic structure continues to shift towards industry and services; the pace of industrialization and modernization associated with urbanization has been accelerated. The marine economy plays an increasingly important role and is gradually becoming an important driving force.
