Cooperation to improve the quality of healthcare between Vietnam and Japan

On the morning of September 3, in Hanoi, a signing ceremony of strategic cooperation in the medical field took place between Vietnam Japan Medical Cooperation Joint Stock Company (VJIIC) and Bao Son General Hospital under Bao Son Group.

The ceremony was attended by leaders of the two units and many guests representing management agencies and domestic and international medical experts. This is an important milestone, affirming VJIIC's commitment to connecting, transferring technology and expanding high-quality medical cooperation programs between Vietnam and Japan.

Within the framework of the cooperation agreement, VJIIC and Bao Son General Hospital will coordinate to implement many key items, including: Developing specialized medical services, applying modern technology from Japan; training and exchanging expertise between Vietnamese and Japanese medical staff; cooperating in clinical research programs to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment; expanding comprehensive health care services for Vietnamese people, combining the strengths of Bao Son General Hospital's facilities with VJIIC's international cooperation experience.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Do Quang Ba - Chairman of VJIIC emphasized: "The cooperation with Bao Son General Hospital is an important step in the journey of bringing Japanese medical advances closer to the Vietnamese people, while contributing to improving the quality of medical services in the country."

Representative of Bao Son General Hospital, Mr. Nguyen Truong Son - Chairman of Bao Son Group, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bao Son General Hospital also affirmed that the signing of cooperation with VJIIC opens up many new opportunities in the development strategy, especially in the field of high-quality healthcare, aiming to better serve the increasing health care needs of the community.

According to Mr. Nguyen Truong Son, in the immediate future, Bao Son General Hospital will coordinate with VJIIC to invite leading Japanese experts and doctors to examine and treat Vietnamese patients at the hospital. At the same time, they will exchange medical experiences through conducting online examinations and consultations for patients.

In the coming time, Bao Son General Hospital will implement a project to build a stem cell therapy research center using Japanese technology at Bao Son General Hospital through the connection of VJIIC.
